Technically, yes, but in reality, probably not. It all depends on the niche that you choose, how you choose to write (creativity, length, etc), and how you market the hubs.

If you were to really have 5000 hubs, then you should be making more than $100 a day, as long as the hubs are well written and unique, and of course of a good niche.

Well, mathematically, yes, it's logical. However, in reality it's likely that you'd earn a lot more than $100 per day as with 5000 hubs many would invariably link to others (if you manage 5000 without a single topic crossing over with another then you deserve a prize) and as people read your hubs they're more likely to go on to read a few more. Basically, it's probably more of an exponential growth than a linear one.

If you put the same time and effort into researching, writing, and linking all 5,000 Hubs that went into the 50 Hubs that make $1 Per Day, then yes.

But, the odds are that anyone's 50 Best Idea contain way more winners than someone's best 5,000 Ideas. Which means that in reality, the amount earned by each Hub is likely to be lower and lower as one reaches deeper and deeper into the barrel for ideas.

On the other hand, 5,000 Hubs earning an average of 10 cents per day still makes ten times more money than 50 Hubs earning $1 per day.

well it depends on the program for example if you are talking about adsense then it is very possible but it takes some good niche topics and original stuff, but with other vias I have hubs that make at least 200 a month and not from adsense,, if you want to make that kind of money you must be creative and think out side the box, i been working with my own methods as I am an online marketer that has been earning online for about 3 years now but thinking outside the box has worked wanders for me I use hubpages in many ways to try and make far more than 100 per day.

It seems I'm the only person responding to this question that isn't a web marketer with a great deal of knowledge about making money with clicks, sites, hubs, tweets, skittles, skattles, and more. Whew.

I can voice an answer to the question, though. Simply because the question, on its surface, is one of mathematics. So my answer is YES. I love the way math and logic get along and play well together. Don't you?

I'm an online marketing manager. There is no easy way to answer this question, but maybe a little industry knowledge will help. What is happening on this site is "Contextual Advertising" which is different than "Search Engine Marketing" (a lot different). Each industry, and and each product/service within that industry has a different average "Click Through Rate" (CTR).

The CTR is calculated by dividing the number of clicks by impressions (every time the ad is shown is 1 impression). So 2 clicks out of 100 impressions is a 2% CTR. Generally speaking, with Contextual Advertising, you see a less than 1% CTR.

CTR is directly affected by several things. The content of the ad must be directly inline with the intent of the user. The closer the better. So in this type of environment (hubpages) you can guess or shape the intent of the user by writing an article that will be directly relevant to the ads you want to display. This will increase CTR.

Then you have to factor in the fact that HubPages take 4 out of every 10 impressions. So all projected numbers must be reduced by 40%.

This topic is huge, and I could write a lot more about it, but will leave it at that for now. So in short; if those 5000 hubs are crap, then no, you will not earn $100 per day. If they are pure gold, rich with relevant advertising, and get a good amount of traffic, then sure, $100 per day is not unreasonable.

I also think the growth is exponential, as I have seen these results over the last 10 months. I have seen something close to doubling of earnings each month of slow, steady writing. I can't speak for publishing at a feverish rate, but I wrote a hub with a formula for you to estimate how much you might make, taking into account time and quality of the hubber.

I think my formula is accurate, because it takes into account these variations. It takes the guess work out. Since I wrote the hub, I have quadrupled earnings rate in two months, but this is just how MY earnings are graphing out. I do expect a payout each month now. If you wrote 5000 hubs in say a year then you'd be writing 13 or 14 hubs a day. If you're knocking them out that fast they're not likely to be very high quality and therefore not earning as much per hub. So in that case the answer is no.

If you built these hubs up over a period of say 10 years (one and a bit quality hubs a day might be realistic) then it could be possible. But bear in mind that you have to write hubs that will remain relevant and not outdated over a period of time.

It really depends on the niche you are choosing, it depends on the number of people searching for a particular topic, and also on the quality, strength, and volume of competing pages. If you can find a way to get your hub alot of backlinks and traffic, then you can probably hit that, but i am a bit of a newbie to hub pages and have only made money with adsense on my own websites yet.

depends on the niche topic, adsense on lawyer / legal related sites make anywhere from 2-4.00 a click, in one day i made 70.00 just on a lawyer site, so it is definitely possible, but then again if your average click is about 30 cents.. something for 100.00 a day at an avg ctr 10% which is above average you will need about 3000-5000 visits per day for something like this to happen....

I think the higher dollar amounts come from quality hubs. While theoretically, it sounds great to put out tons of content, you can accomplish the same with quality, well-written hubs on higher paying topics.

If you write consistantly well then each hub should earn a lot more than $1 if you write 5000!

I would not advise thinking outside the box though, applying old methods to original ideas has always worked best for me, and some of my hubs earn a fair amount.

For what you said, yes it is true. The likelihood of the question is that 5,000 Hubs WILL earn you more then $100 a day almost automatically. This is only if they are SELF WRITTEN, CONTENT RICH, and HAVE MANY INCOMING SOURCES OF NEW PEOPLE (Mostly search engine). Keep in mind, that 1 hub alone can make over $100 a day if done correctly.

I rather not using 5000 hubs as an example. 5,000 traffic will do it for even for 1 hub. Make sure you have the right keywords though. It you choose your keywords well, I could make over $100 easily. I'm assuming that only 1% CTR will do it. If you are just trying to write about random stuff, you are likely not earning any money or just pennies. In order to make good money, you need to learn and understand the internet marketing skill. It take time and effort.

I think probably it may be more if your hub quality is good. As you know, content is king for google. So 5000 hubs with high quality content, you can get even 1$ for your at least 1000 hubs. It will be well worth 1000$ a day. I think 100 $ is not so good for 5000 hubs. I am increasing just a zero at the end, it must be 1000$ a day.

Quite likely a lot more, if you link your Hubs on the same or similar topics to each other. Doing that will give you a little more "Google love", which will increase the number of hits on each Hub, thus likely more AdSense, etc., money per Hub.

Yes it is logical. Using mathematical probaility to equate your statement, the chances of earning $100/day from 5000 hubs where 50 hubs is equal to $1/day, is high. ;-)

And like most of the answers here states, it all depends. Quality is better than quantity in this case, so prioritize quality.

As far as I know, it is a good tactics. Even 10 visits on average to 5,000 hubs would bring 50,000 pageviews. It is $100 if we apply a %2 ecpm for google adsense (earnings for 1,000 views). Let's say %40 goes for hubpages.com. We will have $60 net. I don't count Amazon sale commissions as well. They would be less but together they would reach $100 i guess. i should add the importance of unique and quality articles as a thumb rule as well.

Yes definitely and there are folks who said that they can earn $3000 from 100 hubs and again it all depends on the niche and that is precisely why you should look at the IM guru called Courtney Tuttle who was instrumental in starting the 100 hubs in 30 days challenge.

He gives very genuine advice.

The answer using your logic as presented is YES.

Here's why:

You are assuming that 50 hubs can make a dollar. You do not define the type of hubs or the author. So you are assuming this is an average. So logic would dictate that you could in fact multiply and get your answer.

The real question is how many hubs does it take to make $100 a day? That answer has too many variables.

I see people with this kind of "volume" logic all the time. And it essentially never works out in practice. The reason is something called the "Law of Diminishing Returns". At some point in your efforts the amount of return for the amount of input becomes lower... in effect you hit a curve which plateaus.

Let me give you an example of what I mean:

If you eat 1 french fry you are unsatisfied. So you eat more. At 20 french fries you may be satisfied or not. At 100 how do you feel? You have reached a diminishing return at what point?

So if you have satisfaction at 10 fries will you have more satisfaction at 100, 1,000?
